Missions Update

While physically apart, we can continue to serve collectively. There are several ways you can help our miossions partners as many of them are struggling to provide basic needs to those they serve. This new webpage as updates from some of the groups that we support with a portion of our tithes are offerings. They have also shared ways we can continue to support them through prayer and giving. Take a moment to check out how they are adjusting their ministries to address the pandemic and how you can help. Visit the Missions webpage for details.

Online Devtionals & Discussions

Last week, we will began hosting intentional targeted online groups - one specifically for men and two open to everyone. Men's devotional time is on Friday mornings at 6:30am. The open group times are Sundays (15 minutes after the worship service) and Wednesday evenings at 8:30pm. Wednesday evening will be a short Bible study to encourage and find wisdom for the current societal situation studying the book of Ecclesiates. Login details are emailed out in the weekly emails. Heroes of Bible BS

Women's Bible Study - Heroes of the Bible

The Faithful, Heroes of the Old Testament Bible Study started Tuesday, May 12 for 5 weeks thru June 16 at 9:30am. Meetings are via Zoom until we are able to meet in person in the Admin Conf Room. Borrowing from studies by Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Lisa Harper, Kelly Minter, and Jennifer Rothschild, this 5-session "sampler" study explores crucial moments in the lives of five Old Testament figures—Esther, Gideon, Malachi, Nehemiah, and Hosea. Through their stories, discover how God uses the lives of ordinary people for His glory and the good of His people. Strengthen your faith as you walk alongside these larger-than-life figures who all chose to obey God no matter the circumstances. Book is $17. Contact Shari Penland to join the study.

Family Game Night

Join us for another Family Trivia Night this coming Monday, May 18th, at 6:30pm. It will opoerate the same as it has in the past, with one difference. We will take 15 minutes at the beginning of our time to interact and visit. game play will begin at 6:45pm. There will be questions in this game that are specifically for kids so make sure they are with you! Email Pastor Marshall for details and specifics about how to join the game.

Family Resources for Worship

Each week resources will be posted to help you teach and worship with your child(ren) at home. Make sure you check these out each Sunday and reach out to Pastor Marshall for extra guidance or if you need additional resources while we are worshipping at home. Click HERE to access the resources.

We Are Here to Help

Several members have volunteered to run errands for anyone who is in a high risk group susecptible to COVID-19 or who does not feel comfortable going out. If you would like help running errands and getting groceries or supplies, please let us know. We can put you in touch with someone who can help. Email Angela to place a request.

Scholarship 2020

Scholarship Applications Available - DUE DATE EXTENDED

The Green Level Scholarship application is now available in the Member's section of the website. The scholarship is available to church members. Please have the applications turned in by Sunday, May 31. Click HERE to download the application. NOTE: Teacher recommendations are no requried this year. You may mail your application or scan it and email it to Angela.
