John Hunter Bryson, Jr., 78, of Apex, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born at home in Green Level, NC on November 11, 1942 to John Hunter Bryson and Kathleen Yates Bryson.. Mr. Bryson is survived by his wife, Carol Bryson; son, John H. Bryson III, his wife Sally, and his grandchildren, Madeline Bryson and John Bryson of Richmond, VA; sisters: Hattie Jo Sears and husband Gene of Apex, Sarah Council of Lillington, and Melba Bryson of Hattiesburg, MS. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2020 at Green Level Baptist Church, 8509 Green Level Church Road, Cary, NC.

There will be a funeral service starting at 12:00 pm Monday at Green Level Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Durham Rescue Mission, in memory of John Bryson, PO Box 11368, Durham, NC 27703.
