Woven was born out of a desire of mothers in our church to grow in faith and community with each other and to find supportive and Christ-based friendships throughout the spectrum of motherhood. Everyone from new moms to great-grandmothers is invited to participate. We value those who have gone before us and hope to build a group of mentor moms to speak truth and encouragement to the upcoming generations. Whether you became a mother by "traditional" means or through adoption, fostering, marriage or even loss, there is a place for you here.

As Colossians 2:2-3 states we hope to establish a group "woven in a tapestry of love," not competition, shame or judgment. We will strive to know all the things of God through learning, intentional time in His Word, and fellowship so that we "will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ..."

Colossians 2:2-3 MSG

2 I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery. 3 All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we've been shown the mystery!

Monthly Schedule

Check out our monthly Woven schedule including meetings, playdates & moms' night out
Woven will meet twice-a-month in the morning September thru May. We'll meet:
  • 2nd Saturday of the month
  • 4th Tuesday of the month

We'll also plan monthly playdates for families with children of all ages, as well as monthly mom only outings.

Registration fees and semester dues are used to offset childcare costs and hosting and meeting expenses. Registration fees are $20 per year. Semester dues are $30 per semester (fall & spring). For 2019, dues and registration fees will be collected in January for the spring semester.

Childcare is provided for the moms who attend our meetings. We all contribute to the cost of care through our dues and registration fees as a way to support one another and to ease the burden on individuals. This is a foundational principle of Woven - just like we share the "burden" of the expense of something simple like childcare for one another, we also hope to share the burdens, successes, joys and concerns of each other as well. Not one of us should shoulder the physical or emotional journey of motherhood alone. If you require childcare, please fill out the Childcare Request Form and submit it two weeks prior to the meeting date.

If you have any questions or want to make a connection before you show up, please reach out to Amy Owen or Jenna Baker.
