Our Pastor
Pastors are servant leaders passionate for the glory of God, the good of His church, and the spread of His gospel. We rejoice knowing Pastor David is here for our "progress and joy in the faith" (cf. Philippians 1:25) and "to equip [us] for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" (cf. Ephesians 4:12).
David Baker
Pastor David serves our church as Senior Pastor. He and his wife, Jenna, have been part of our church since the summer of 2008, when he began as our part-time Youth Director. He's a proud alumnus of UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor David and Jenna have two kids who love our church, especially our Kids Ministry. Our Non-Pastoral Staff
We're blessed by some amazing men and women who serve our church as non-pastoral staff. These men and women faithfully serve our church in a variety of capacities. Our team may not be the biggest, but it's one we know loves the Lord and each of us.
John Ferrell
John serves our church as Custodian. John has been in and around our church all his life. In fact, his family traces its lineage back to our first pastor, Matthew Ferrell. John and his wife, Candy, are proud parents and grand-parents. Fun fact: Pastor David spent time as the Youth Director/Pastor for their kids. You can email John here.
RW Hobbs
RW is one half of our "Green Level Gettys" and serves our church as Pianist, which he has done since 2007. This title, however, sells him far too short. Hear RW play or arrange and you'll know what we mean. You can email him here.
Shelley Hobbs
Shelley is the other half of our "Green Level Gettys" and serves our church as Music Ministry Director. She has also been our church since 2007, when she started as our Creative Ministries Leader for Youth. Shelley and RW have two kids who are part of our Kids Ministry. Ashley Napier
Ashley serves our church as Kids Ministry Director. She and her husband, Luke, have been in our church since 2021, though she started as Kids Ministry Director near the end of 2023. Heather Ragland
Heather is the newest member of our staff team. She serves our church as the Admin Assistant. We're still updating her bio, but you can email her here.
Our Family Deacons
Though we have many others in our church who serve (biblical verb "to deacon"), we're blessed by 10 men we've commissioned "to deacon" in a special way. In addition to other responsibilities, these leading servants (and often their wives as well) assist the ministry of our church by humbly serving us, the families of our church. They each serve in a three-year cycle.
