Since September 4, 1870, men, women, boys, and girls have gathered in Green Level each Sunday morning to worship, remembering and rejoicing in our risen Lord and His Gospel.
We'd love for you to join us as we do this Sunday.
As we invite you to join us this Sunday morning, we'd like to make an important caveat. We don't really go to church; we gather as the church. That's because the biblical word translated "church" focuses on the people who gather rather than the place where they gather.
So, we're not so much inviting you to come to our building as inviting you to join us in what we're doing inside (and outside) it. In a time of increasing isolation and division, we're remembering and rejoicing that God has reconciled us to Himself and to one another.
Each Sunday morning, we gather with one another to say in the words of Psalm 34:3, "Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together!" And we'd love nothing more than for you to join us the next time we do! That's our invitation.
Sunday School
9:30am | We have Sunday School Classes and Groups for all ages that meet each Sunday morning prior to our Worship Service. These classes and groups help us grow deeper with God, His Word, and one another.
Worship Service
10:30am | To worship is to recognize and celebrate the worth of something or someone. Each week, we come together to worship our great and glorious God and to celebrate His Gospel (i.e., good news) in our Lord Jesus Christ.
What do I wear?
There's a pretty wide spectrum of dress in our church. In the summer, you might find everything from suits to shorts. We encourage our members to dress in a way that honors God and one another. While clothes are important, they are a secondary consideration. As God told Samuel, "Man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).
What do I bring?
Just yourself and a Bible—if you have one. We primarily use the ESV (English Standard Version), but we encourage you to bring your own. As Pastor David says, his recommended Bible translation is the one you'll read. That said, if you don't own your own Bible, please let us know. We'd love nothing more than to give you one. It would be our joy!
When should I arrive?
If you're coming directly to our Worship Service, we encourage you to arrive around 10:15 or 10:20am. That way, you'll have plenty of time to find a parking spot and make your way to our Welcome Center before we start at 10:30am. If you're planning to attend one of our Sunday School classes, you'll need to arrive before they start around 9:00am.
Where do I park?
We have two parking lots, one on each side of our main building. If this is your first time, you have young children, or you're a Senior, we recommend you look first in the lot adjacent to our Welcome Center. As a heads up, this lot typically fills up first. Of course, if you'd like to drop someone off before parking, you can use the covered drop-off area in front of the Welcome Center.
Where do I enter?
Once you've parked, we invite you to enter through our Welcome Center. There you'll be greeted by a friendly member of our Connections Team, who can answer your questions and help you find where you need to go. If this is your first time, we highly encourage you to stop by our Welcome Desk, either on your way in or way out.
What about my kids?
When you arrive, please use the kiosk to sign your kids in. While we provide childcare for children from birth through preK throughout our service, those in Kindergarten and above join us until just before the sermon. Then we invite children in K-3rd grade to leave for a special teaching time designed just for them, which we call "Kid Level."

We're located about 0.3 miles from the corner of Green Level Church Road and High House Road (formerly Green Level West). On Green Level Church Road, we're almost exactly between Green Level High School and Thomas Brooks Park.
