The Daily 3 | It's Back. Just Different.

Happy Tuesday Church Family!

Beginning today, I am repurposing and relaunching “The Daily 3.” As you might remember, “The Daily 3” was something our Staff started on Facebook in early April as a way to stay connected with you during the early stages of COVID-19. In May, we transitioned from “The Daily 3” to “Green Level Live,” posting less often and only as needed. “Green Level Live” remains a tool for our Staff, but today I’m bringing back “The Daily 3” with a new purpose and format.

One of my great joys is to serve the Lord as your Senior Pastor. This time has been difficult for each of us and I greatly miss our “normal” times together. I echo Paul’s heart for the Philippians, to be “for your progress and joy in the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:25-26a). My greatest prayer for our church family is that we would experience “the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (cf. Phil 3:8).

Because of this, there is often so much I want to share with you - a book I’m reading, a helpful resource I’ve come across, something the Lord is teaching me from His Word. I know my sermons are already long enough, but this weekly time just feels so infrequent and short. For a long time, I have prayed and thought about how to share with you at other times and in other ways. Yet, because time is the most precious resource for most of us, I have sought means and methods that are also time-sensitive.

Rather than reinventing the wheel or asking you to carve out 10-20 minutes in one sitting, I’ve decided to repurpose and relaunch “The Daily 3.” Moving forward, each episode will now be 5-7 minutes and follow the same format. First, I’ll highlight a “Psalm of the Day.” Then, I’ll spend three minutes on the subject/resource I’m spotlighting. Finally, I’ll close with a “Prayer Focus” for that day.

Though these episodes will no longer be live (“Green Level Live” is now our platform for that), they will be posted on our website, as well as on our church’s YouTube Page and Facebook Page each weekday morning around 8:30am. Beginning tomorrow (I hope!), an audio version of each episode will also be available to listen to and download via Apple Podcasts.

My prayer is that this refreshed and repurposed “The Daily 3” will bless you and give you ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus. I invite and encourage you to watch today’s episode now.

To Him be all glory.

Pastor David
