Next Steps Together1

Next Steps Together - Stay Tuned

We are excitedly anticipating the day we will be able to worship together in the church building again. The staff, deacons, and church council have been collaborating on how best to proceed once the government and health care officials move us into Phase 3 and ease some of the restrictions related to large groups gathering indoors. Stay tuned for a message from Pastor David later this week. He will bring you more details and layout the proposed timeline for us to take the next steps together!

Commitee List

2020-21 Church Committee List Available

The Nominating Commitee have worked hard to compile the list of church committees and volunteers to serve on each of them for the 2020-21 church year. They are asking that you view the list and see where you are currently scheduled to serve and, if there are open positions, where you might be led to serve in the future. Click HERE to check out the draft list.

Sunday School on Campus

Some of our Sunday School classes have begun to meet on campus outdoors under the picnic shelter or in the parking lot under tents. Other classes will continue to meet virtually until the new building addition opens or we are deeper into Phase 3 of the government restrictions related to COVID-19. If you are interested in joining one of our Sunday School classes, please reach out the Kenneth Ragland, our Sunday School director for more information.

New Sermon Series Continues

We began a new sermon series this summer exploring our union with Christ as believers. This is a rich topic and one we will only scratch the surface of during the summer. To dive deeper, visit the series webpage where we will share additional resources with you throughout the series, including books and texts that Pastor David references each week. Click HERE for some background. Join us Sunday morning in person outside at 9am or online for the livestream at 10:30am. Click HERE to join us virtually.

Outdoor Service1

Outdoor Service Continues

Our Sunday morning outdoor service will continue to meet this week at 9:00am in the parking lot between the administration building and the church. We will have a couple of tents set up for shade. You are welcome to bring your own tents as well and store them in the administration building basement as long as we continue to meet outdoors. Please continue to bring your own seating and any additional sunshade - hats, umbrellas, etc. Music lyrics for this week's service can be found HERE.

GL Live FB

Green Level LIVE

Each week we go live on Facebook to bring you updates, announcements, and important information about the church. Follow us on Facebook to get notifications about when we are live and post new content. Look for us on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:30pm.

Update Breeze

 Update Your Information in Breeze

If you are a member of Green Level Baptist Church or long-time attendee, you have a Breeze account. This is our online church directory and calendar. The system has had some hiccups and not saved some changes made to contact information or church status (whether you are a member or not, when you joined, etc.). Please take a moment to help us double-check and update our files. Instructions on how to do that were sent via email. If you have never logged into Breeze or need the instructions again, please see Angela for assistance.

 Men's Devotional Group

We are trying new things and exploring different ways to keep you all connected. One of the new initiatives is a men's devotional time on Friday mornings at 6:30am. Currently, the group is studying Wisdom is Prudent - a look at Ecclesiastes . The group is open to all men. For information about the group visit www.greenlevel.com/smallgroups.
