Missions Update

While physically apart, we can continue to serve collectively. There are several ways you can help our miossions partners as many of them are struggling to provide basic needs to those they serve. This new webpage as updates from some of the groups that we support with a portion of our tithes are offerings. They have also shared ways we can continue to support them through prayer and giving. Take a moment to check out how they are adjusting their ministries to address the pandemic and how you can help. Visit the Missions webpage for details.

Heroes of Bible BS

Women's Bible Study - Heroes of the Bible

The Faithful, Heroes of the Old Testament Bible Study will start on Tuesday, May 12 for 5 weeks thru June 16 at 9:30am. We will meet via Zoom until we are able to meet in person in the Admin Conf Room. Borrowing from studies by Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Lisa Harper, Kelly Minter, and Jennifer Rothschild, this 5-session "sampler" study explores crucial moments in the lives of five Old Testament figures—Esther, Gideon, Malachi, Nehemiah, and Hosea. Through their stories, discover how God uses the lives of ordinary people for His glory and the good of His people. Strengthen your faith as you walk alongside these larger-than-life figures who all chose to obey God no matter the circumstances. Book is $17. Contact Shari Penland to join the study.

GL Live FB

Green Level Live!

During April and the stay-at-home order, one way we connected with you was through Facebook Live with "The Daily 3". This was intended to give you quick updates each day as new information was coming out affecting our church and its operations. Now that things have slowed a bit and we know better what to expect, we are transitioning "The Daily 3" to "Green Level Live!" We will continue to use Facebook Live for updates and new initiatives but the format, timing, duration and topics might look a little different. We would love to hear you feedback as we try new things and new platforms to connect. Reach out to Angela to let her know how you we are doing!

This is My Story

We love the lyrics of "Blessed Assurance". "This is my story. This is my song. Praising my Savior all the day long." Stories - or testimonies - encourage us both to worship and to witness. We want to hear from you and highlight what God has done - and is doing - in your life. Share your story HERE. Check out what others have shared HERE.
