What is Level UP?
Level UP is a program on Wednesday nights at church centered around Biblical stories and verses that teach the truth about who God is, who we are in relation to Him, and what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Each Wednesday, kids will learn a Bible story, a central verse, and core truths for that week to be reinforced through every aspect of the program. Whether it be through recreation, singing, activities, or small groups, each component of Level Up will be focused on helping children see the truth in the Bible and hiding it in their hearts.

What does a Wednesday evening schedule look like?
Each evening will being at 6pm with an opening ceremony in the sanctuary. Kids will join their teams for an introduction to the night's lesson or Bible story, praise and worship through singing, recognition of any awards earned, and prayer.
After that, teams will rotate through a lesson time where they learn about the evening's Bible story, the Biblical truths that it teaches, and the core Bible verse that relates to those and a time where they memorize the core verse, answer questions about what they have learned, and pray with their adult mentor and friends.
At the end of the night, kids will head back to the sanctuary with their teams for a review and dismissal.
Sign In - Upon arrival, you will enter the Welcome Center and check your child in at the Welcome Desk. Kids in grades K-5 will receive a lanyard with their name on it. Kids in PreK and younger will get sticker name tags.
Bibles are strongly encouraged. If your child does not have a Bible, we would be honored to give them one.
Welcome & Singing - Kids will gather in the sanctuary to sing and celebrate. They will hear the week's Bible verse and sing songs related to the Bible story and core truths. Special recognitions will be awarded during this time. Kids can earn awards too - like learning the books of the Bible. See the award list HERE.
Games Time - This is a time for kids to burn off extra energy and connect to each other through sports, games, and activities designed around our weekly Bible story and/or scripture.
Lesson Time - This is a teaching time where kids will hear the Bible story and our leaders will help them understand what the story says about God and how we should respond to that knowledge.
Mentor Time - Kids will break out into groups of 1-3 with an adult mentor to guide them through a deeper understanding of the Bible verse, reinforcing the memorization of the scripture, helping them with any questions or activities in their handbook, and leading them through a time of prayer.
Pick Up - Parents will pick up their children in the Welcome Center Please bring the required parent tag or proper identification. Kids will be together in the sanctuary for the evening's review. Our leaders will bring your child out to you in the Welcome Center.
Working from Philippians 3:12b, 14, the focus of Level Up! is:
For each child to hear about Christ.
For each child to respond to Christ.
For each child to begin the life-long journey of growing in Him.
Level UP! Includes purposeful programming to engage parents, encourage multi-generational participation, and equip/empower
those serving our kids weekly.
Who can participate?
Kids from age 3 through 5th grade. Classes are available for children under 3 IF an older sibling is participating or a parent is serving in Level Up or attending the Bible study. Students (grades 6-12) can join the student ministry Wednesday evening events centered on Bible study tailored to middle and high schoolers. Parents and adults can join the Bible study led by Pastor David or serve as a leader or mentor in Level Up!
What does it cost?
$20 per child per year.
How do I register my kids?
Fill out the Level Up Registration Form. There is a place to submit payment at the bottom of the form. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, simply choose that option from the drop-down menu.
How do I sign up to volunteer or serve?
Fill out the Kids Ministry Volunteer Interest Form. If you are new to serving you will need a background check to serve in our kids or youth program. Once we receive your interest form and Pastor Zack visits with you about specifics, you will receive a link to complete the background check process.
What can parents participate in during Level Up?
Parents who are free on Wednesdays can serve in Level Up as a mentor or attend Pastor David's Bible study.
What days does Level Up meet? Does it follow the school calendar?
We meet on Wednesday evenings. We loosely follow the traditional school calendar. We will begin on Wednesday, September 13, and meet each week EXCEPT the week of Thanksgiving, the 2 weeks of Christmas break, and the week of the traditional calendar's Spring Break. Our last Wednesday together before the summer break will be May 22nd.
