3 ways to give year endEND OF YEAR GIFTS

All end of year giving must be in the church office or postmarked by Monday, December 31st to go toward your 2018 offerings. Online giving is now available through our website as well. You can click HERE to donate. Please see our church treasurer, Trudi D'Ambrosio, with any questions.

Equip workshops are a new initiative to train and educate our members several times throughout the year on topics relating to our different ministries. On Saturday, January 5 from 8:30am to 12noon, the workshop topic will be Small Groups & Sunday School. Anyone currently leading or interested in leading or organizing a small group or Sunday school class is strongly encouraged to attend. Mr. Rick Hughes, Senior Consultant for Sunday School & Small Groups from the North Carolina Baptist Association will be leading the discussion. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall. Click HERE to RSVP. See Pastor David is you have any questions or need further information.

Post Office Christmas CardsCHRISTMAS CARDS

The Green Level Baptist Church Christmas Post Office is open in the vestibule. This is a long time tradition at Green Level. Instead of mailing Christmas cards to one another, you can exchange cards using the boxes in the vestibule to leave cards for your church family and then donate the money saved in postage to the church or the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. After the new year, Women on Mission collect Christmas cards to donate them to the Council on Aging to be used for crafts and projects. A collection bin will be in the Sunday School office.

During the month of December, we will collect our annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. For more information about the offering or Lottie Moon herself, click here. Our church goal is $3,000. Please indicate "Lottie Moon" on the memo line of your check or select "Lottie Moon Christmas Offerings" when you give online here.

The Sunday evening Bible study group will resume on Sunday, January 13th at the Heule home. Potluck dinner begins at 6pm followed by the study and discussion at 7pm. The group will be studying Genesis. There is no cost for the study. Contact Dane or Mary Ann Heule to sign up or for more information.

If you prefer to give using tithe and offering envelopes, the yearly box sets are now available. Boxes will be available in the adult Sunday School rooms and on the information table behind the sanctuary this week. After that, boxes can be found in the Sunday School Office.

The Raise Up Reach Out team will be hosting a luncheon immediately following the service in the fellowship hall on Sunday, January 6, to update us on the renovation project and what changes are to be expected in the coming months. A groundbreaking ceremony and time of prayer will be after the luncheon. The luncheon is free and members and guests are invited to attend.

This Sunday, December 23, is Family Worship Sunday where elementary-age children stay in the service with their families rather than going to our children's worship time, KidLevel. We will also observe the Lord's Supper during the service this week.

events-foodpantrydriveAHS FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION

During the school year, we collect food for Apex High School students and families who struggle with food insecurity.  The school's food closet is managed by the special needs students who learn important life skills about sorting, food safety, and organization.  New or gently used backpacks are also needed for students to carry food home. Please place all donations on the table in the breezeway.
