Green Level Baptist Church Missions Committee Charge & Purpose
The missions committee was charged with creating a missions strategy for Green Level Baptist Church and then make recommendations on how to best designate the mission's funds, over and above the special missions offerings advocated and sponsored by the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). The committee is also charged with the responsibility of evaluating any other missions' opportunities that are brought to the church and determining their merit based on the strategies defined,
The mission's strategies as defined in this document are to be used to provide guidelines for the Green Level Baptist Church Mission Committee members when mission requests are received. Based on these guidelines the missions committee will determine the validity of a missions request based on the following criteria and if Spirit led to support the cause, the committee will then present its recommendations to the church for approval during regularly scheduled church conferences.
